National Convention Centre
Canberra, AustraliaThe NBTA Asia Pacific Regional Business Travel Conference will take place in Canberra, Australia. Don’t miss the opportunity to participate in the premier business travel association Business Travel Event of the Year.
2008 Recap:
More than 230 registrants – an all-time high turnout – gathered at Sydney’s ANZ Park on 25-26 August for the NBTA Asia Pacific Regional Business Travel Conference. Over the course of the two-day event, participants had the opportunity to hear from experts from within the business travel community and outside of it during seven plenary sessions, and six concurrent education sessions. Among the most well-received events were two General Sessions, the first featuring the Hon. Alexander Downer, formerly Australia’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, and one of the most influential politicians within the country. The second session featuring Tony Wheeler, co-founder of Lonely Planet publications, also created quite a buzz among the attendees. The conference was rounded out by ample opportunities to connect with one another at a variety of social events, supported by a large number of industry sponsors, including Gold Partners Qantas, American Express and Virgin Blue.
