NEW YORK | Denihan Hospitality Group (DHG) announces that it has been awarded the management contract for the Buckingham Hotel, the 112-room hotel located on the prime corner of West 57th Street and Sixth Avenue in Manhattan, by owner JHNY 57. With the addition of the Buckingham, the DHG portfolio of boutique and luxury hotels grows in key gateway cities, including New York, Chicago and Washington, D.C.

Jeff Dagowitz, spokesperson for JHNY 57, cited DHG’s centralized operating platform, expert senior management team and full complement of resources in the decision to award the management contract. “DHG has a proven record of providing a disciplined approach to operations and proactive sales and marketing to drive market share and enhance revenues,” said Dagowitz.

“Independent and DHG-branded management contracts in strategic locations are major opportunities for growth,” said Brooke Barrett, co-CEO of DHG. “More than ever, DHG can be a turn-key solution to owners of independent assets looking to strengthen their core business and increase incremental profit.”

The Buckingham Hotel’s central midtown location is an ideal complement to DHG’s existing portfolio of branded and independent properties, expanding its New York City hotel options for guests seeking additional West Side accommodations.
