Perry Kessler | Executive Appointment | Director of Sales and Marketing at the Newport Marriott Hotel

Perry KesslerPerry Kessler was recently named Director of Sales and Marketing at the Newport Marriott Hotel in Rhode Island. Kessler’s extensive industry experience has helped developed his expertise in strategic account development, team building and salesmanship. He is a 20 year veteran in the meetings, conferences, conventions and events industry. He is active in organizations such as Meeting Planners International and is an acclaimed speaker, panelist, trainer and facilitator.

Kessler was promoted in March, 2008, as Newport Marriott’s newest executive committee member after he concluded an 18 month project as Sales Director, leading the opening sales force of the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel. He served in positions prior such as Area Director of Hotel Sales for Marriott International, Senior Account Executive for the Boston Marriott’s Newton and Burlington, Director of Events at the Boston Marriott Copley Place, Catering Sales Manager at the Cambridge Center Marriott various other positions in the Convention and Banquet arenas.

With more than 26,000 sq. feet of function space, the newly renovated Newport Marriott Hotel is located in the heart of historic Newport, Rhode Island. With a convenient harbor location, legendary attractions such as the Cliff Walk, Newport Mansions, Castle Hill Lighthouse and the International Tennis Hall of Fame are easily accessible.
