Hotel Indigo Opens 13 Hotels and Signs 16 Deals Globally in 2009

Hotel Indigo opens 13 hotels and signs 16 deals globally in 2009 demonstrating its success with both developers and consumers in spite of the economic downturn. There are currently 34 Hotel Indigo properties open worldwide and more than 60 hotels under development, either in the pipeline or in final negotiation.

There are currently 34 Hotel Indigo properties open worldwide and more than 60 hotels under development, either in the pipeline or in final negotiation.The recent opening of Hotel Indigo New York City Chelsea converged with the brand's announcement of three new Hotel Indigo signings for properties in Hong Kong, Liverpool, England, and Glasgow, Scotland. The brand began its global roll out with the opening of Hotel Indigo London Paddington in December 2008 and will open its first hotel in Asia Pacific in Shanghai, China in May 2010.
